Dr. Valerie G. Segovia is a higher education professional with over 30 years of experience at all levels. Twenty-seven in leadership roles in her home state and internationally creating impactful programs. She is also a content creator and producer and host of a podcast. Prior to “The Gs” series, Dr. Segovia authored a children’s book series focusing on encouraging children to dream about what they want to be when they grow up. She is a recognized speaker, creator, collaborator, and presenter throughout the state and internationally. Dr. Segovia holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, two master’s degrees: in counseling and administration and supervision, and a doctorate in educational leadership. She is a mother to three grown, beautiful children, spouse to her husband, and a “Bubbie” to her perfect granddaughters, and an animal and nature lover. And, she is the twelfth of her parents’ thirteen children!
